What are CBAP and CCBA?
CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) and CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) are business analysis certifications awarded by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Both exams are based on the BABOK® Guide (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge).
CCBA targets business analysts with intermediate experience, while CBAP is designed for senior practitioners. This training covers the BABOK knowledge areas and techniques with practical examples to prepare for both exams.

CCBA requires at least 3,750 hours of business analysis experience in the last 7 years and 21 hours of professional development in the last 4 years.
With roughly 2–3 years of business analysis experience CCBA is the better fit; with 5+ years of senior experience, CBAP. The main differences are the experience requirement and the depth of the scenario questions.
